First things first, Sofia and Joseph are such gems in every way. Their easy going personalities made the day such a joy. And most of all, their love of Jesus was so obvious in everything: the ceremony of course, but also just their interactions with each other, family, friends, and even me It was real blessing!
And let me also say that they were a breeze to photograph….so natural and basically all we had to do was follow them around!We started off at the best little Air B&B I ever did see. For real, if you are looking for a great place to stay to also get portraits done before a wedding….I know the place. It had everything: field of flowers, mountain views, tree lined driveway, blooms, and A CASTLE!! I can’t even! And of course Pretty Place goes without saying that it is gorgeous!
Some things that stick out to me as extra special about Sofia and Joseph’s day are:
- The Air B&B location. Already said it–but it was awesome!
- Sofia and her friend and bridesmaid Sar have been friends since 1st grade. Ellie (our oldest) is in first grade right now and it is so cool to think that if she chooses to get married, that she could have a friend now that might be in her wedding. You could tell Sofia and Sar have such a rich backstory just by how giddy they were to share the day together!
- At the end of the ceremony before the recessional, the families gathered around Sofia and Joseph to pray. It was beautiful. It was powerful. And it was one of my favorite moments in a wedding in recent memory. <3
Sofia and Joseph, I have no doubt God will do great things through your marriage and I am so honored to have gotten to document the start of it! Much love to you both!
