Ash and Bryan’s North Carolina Mountain Wedding

Can you beat a bride and groom in a river? I think not! Here are Ash and Bryan, aka Mr. and Mrs. Raines!!

Their story is a beautiful one–Ash fell in love with the little town of Mill Springs, NC so much so that while working there she would commute at all hours just to be around the place. Enter Bryan. He had always lived in town and while the connection was immediate between them, it was a couple years before they were officially a couple. Their family has always been at the center and when Bryan proposed at sunrise on the beach last Christmas, Ashley was over the moon!

I got to photograph their engagement session (here) in that same small town. For their wedding day, I was already booked, but my amazing associate photographer Sabrina and Christy shot this perfect riverside wedding day! It was full of their closest family, the best friends, delicious food, and everything that makes them….them! Complete with portraits in the river (!!!) and a little fishing at the end. 🙂
