Caroline and Chase’s Pretty Place Wedding, Greenville Wedding Photographer
Caroline and Chase! They’re married!!
I know it is cliche, but every time am talking to a couple who I don’t know yet, I always want to know a little bit about how they met and their story. Tell me as much or as little as you want, but anything you want to share, I want to hear! When Caroline said that she and Chase met at work and that he says “She makes the stuff and I break it.” it made me laugh and we have been having a good time ever since!
These two are so easy and natural together and are clearly each other’s safe place. As it should be! Some of my favorite parts of their day were:
Caroline went to camp as a kid at Camp Greenville which is where Pretty Place is located. All day I kept imagining little girl Caroline what would she think if you told her one day she would be back in that chapel getting married?!? Just so precious!
Pre-ceremony portrait locations and sunset portrait location! Originally the plan had been to do wedding party portraits and first look at an overlook spot in Connestee Falls. It is a gorgeous spot, but when we went for bridal portirats, I could tell that the afternoon lighting would not be good, and it was a really. narrow space to put all her birdal party. When I mentioned this and suggested that we instead do bridal party and first look at the same palce that we did the bridal portirats, and save the overlook for some sunset portraits, they were all in! These spots were technically flawless in the new plan and made it easier for everyone (us and the video crew) to get all the shots we needed. We were so thankful for how they went with the flow and trusted us to serve them the very best!
The colors and dresses!! Is there anything more classic than blue and white?!? And the MOH’s bow on her dress?!?
Speaking of dresses….Caroline! I was in LOVE with the subtle pattern in her dress and that epic long veil. I, as per usual, got squealy over the long veil!
The Pretty Place views did not disappoint AND we got a rainbow during family photos. What a treat!!
At the reception, they had a live painter, FOR THE GUESTS as a favor. Oh man, I love love love this! And did I get one with Jill, my second shooter? Sure did!
The reception was also SO SO FUN! Dancing a’plenty and I even danced with the self proclaimed “fun aunt”. HA!!
Caroline and Chase–what a pleasure it is to know you! I have had a blast, and I can’t wait to keep being friends and documenting your life going forward! I really can’t wait!
