Kimberly & Kristian’s Duncan Estate Wedding, Spartanburg Wedding Photographer

“I will sing of the goodness of God….” The song Kimberly walked down the aisle to. So many things about them made my heart so happy, and the music in their ceremony encompassed it all. These two have been through a lot on the way to September 20, 2020. And yet…the goodness of God prevails. I’m so thankful they chose me to be there and catch these sweet moments…every one of them!

I know Kristian from college and have gotten to know Kimberly through the wedding planning process. In fact, I am pretty sure the first time I met Kimberly, it was when I shot Cal and Haley’s wedding last year–Kristian was a groomsman in that wedding. (It is just the best when I get to shoot the wedding of someone who was in the wedding party of a previous couple!!) They are perfect together and their day reflected them so perfectly!

Some of my favorite parts of their day were:

– Their first look and ceremony! I don’t think he would mind me saying that Kristian was a little hesitant about a first look initially because he didn’t want it to make the moment when she walked down the aisle less emotional. Scroll down to see when he say her during the first look, then when she was coming down the aisle, and MY FAVORITE MOMENT OF THE DAY…when they got to the end of the aisle after they were married. EMOTION, MY FRIENDS! Unbridled and beautiful!!!

– Kimberly’s dress and veil were to. die. for. Full tilt elegance! And the sleeves!!! (The weather was perfect for it, also!)

– I said it before, but their ceremony music was basically a compilation of things on my current worship playlist. I admit it. I was misty. 🙂

– Kristian chose a band for the reception that is one he has followed for a long time. How fun to have a personal connection with your entertainment! And also, there were some kiddos at the reception, and they got a MAGICIAN  to come for a while to entertain them!! So thoughtful!

These 2 are now Mr. and Mrs. Roof and I couldn’t be happier! Cheers, my friends!! It was an honor, and I can’t wait to see how life unfolds from here!
