Casey and Chad’s Wedding at Lindsey Plantation

Here they are! Casey and Chad Reece!

I remember sitting down with Casey and her mom at Panera back last summer and leaving hoping so much I would get to work with them. It was just as much of a joy as I thought it was going to be from that first meeting! Casey and Chad met in high school and were good friends, but lost touch after graduation. That is, until he was back in town for July 4th 6 years later…and there Casey was! At one point in the day, Casey looked at one of her bridesmaids and said, “Can you believe I am marrying Chad Reece?!?!” Well, it happened and it was awesome!

Some memorable parts of the day for me were:

• Casey and Chad reading the letters to each other right before their first look. With those words fresh on their minds, it made the first look even that much sweeter!
• The relationship they have with Casey’s niece! Oh man, that sweet girl! Probably my favorite moment involving her (and there were many sweet ones) is when she beat the officiant to the pronouncing of husband and wife! And then Casey ushered her over for a big hug! • I can’t overlook the sunset at Lindsey Plantation. My word, it showed OFF for these two and I loved every second!

Casey and Chad, thank you so much for letting me capture your day. It was beautiful and I wish you two a forever that is even more amazing!
