Brittany & Tom’s Wedding at Aurora Farms

I have been looking forward to this day with one of the most fun couples–at one of the most beautiful venues–for a long time. And finally we get to say it: Here are the Fazios!!!

It has been such a joy getting to know these two. Brittany is an elementary school teacher and Tom is a police officer. Both of their professional lives are focused on serving and caring for others. And now they bring that love and service to being devoted to each other. Being each other’s corner man. That is some terminology that was given to me and Hayes when we got married. We go into our days kind of like a boxer going into the ring. Doing the work, fighting the fight–sometimes we come home (or back to our corners) elated. Other times, with some wounds. Whatever the case, our spouse is there to be our safe place, our rest, and to bring comfort and encouragement. Like our corner man–or woman! And then when it is time to go back out again–we do it from a place of love and security knowing someone is always there on our team. What a beautiful thing marriage is. It is never lost on me!

Some favorite parts of their day were:

• First look with Brittany’s dad. Oh man, Brittany is the first in a series of daughters, and the first to get married. So it held all the extra feels and seeing Brittany’s parents love on her and admire their baby girl was the most precious.
• Speaking on sisters, seeing these sisters dynamic all day made me smile. They are close and what a gift close sibling relationships are!
• Brittany and Tom had a celebratory drink during their ceremony and I just adore when couples add personal touches like that. Scroll for that one–how precious!
• They had a sign made up and installed above their head table at the reception that read “The Fazios” and it made the most fun backdrop to the reception photos. LOVE
• The MOST FUN DANCE PARTY. Don’t take my word for it–scroll to see because it was just fantastic!! Shoutout to Malik with AudioGrafs for keeping the dance floor crowded to celebrate these two!
