Shelby and Jonathan Wedding

It was a most peaceful wedding day for Shelby and Jonathan!

When I asked her after the wedding how she felt and how she was doing, I think Shelby was a little taken aback at how peaceful the day truly went. Her amazing team surrounding her were able to help her focus on what was important and have fun along the way. The day included perfect summer feelings with mountain views that I didn’t even mind the sweat that came with it!

Some of my favorite parts of the day include:

• Shelby’s jewelry. She had her nails done to match and I just love them!

• Watching her family and friends react to their vows. So many happy tears were shed in the audience! Your wedding is absolutely about you two, but it is also about all the people who love you who come to celebrate, support, and love you. I love getting some shots of your people taking it all in too!

• Watching Jonathan hold back tears as Shelby came down the aisle. One of my favorite wedding moments to turn back to the groom while everyone else is turning to the bride. (And of course I turn back to the bride also!)

• The cake topper. It had something they love incorporated, video games!

• Shelby’s dad’s speech. Tears are welcome from everyone on wedding day, especially when it is your little girl!

Shelby and Jonathan, I wish you so much happiness in your marriage. I was honored to be a part of the day that starts it off!
