Shelby & Shane’s Pretty Place Wedding

In one of her first emails to me, Shelby said, “We’ve basically grown up together and have been through all ups and downs that come with it. His family is like my own and I love them deeply. ” That fact was so obvious through this whole day! Shelby and Shane are from Florida, but found Pretty Place online and fell in love. Who wouldn’t?!? They opted to have their closest family come up to the mountain top with them to celebrate and it was *beautiful*! Pretty Place varies more than you would think from day to day because of the light, and  it really showed off for the new Mr. and Mrs. Goodroe!

Some of my favorite parts of their day were:

• Their wedding party! Scroll to see–have you ever seen a cuter wedding party in your whole life?!?
• The dresses! Both Shelby’s and those sweet flower girls….where can I find my size?
• The portraits out on the rock were some of my favorites I’ve done! Funny story–the parents were warning the kids not to get out on that rock because they would “most certainly die”. Good advice for kids by the way–totally would have done the same thing! But not too long after they said it, it was time for Shelby and Shane to get out on the rock. Whoops! Sorry if we ruined any parenting discipline there! 🙂
