Abigail & Jordan’s Gassaway Mansion Wedding

In all their newlywed glory, here they are! Abigail and Jordan!

Can I just tell you that one of my very favorite things about this job is getting to know (and photograph!) groups of friends! It is just so fun! I actually FIRST met Abigail when she can along to help our at her roommate Michala’s engagement session. And when she got engaged a little while later, I had a message from her pop up in my inbox and I think I literally did a happy dance! So I got to hang with her through Michala’s wedding, at another medical school friend’s wedding, and then it was like we had a reunion at her’s! So fun! Also, Abigail is a Wofford grad also, so if that didn’t just seal the deal, then I don’t know what else could!

Oh and did I mention she is a doctor and was able to come in and meet my sweet baby boy while we were still in the hospital. Girl, I feel like we have done so much life together, ha!

So now that I have fangirled over these two, let me just say, their wedding was as lovely as they are down to every detail. Some of my favorite parts of their day were:

– I first got to see it at her bridal session, but I loved Abigail’s veil! Not only was it long (my fav!) but it was an heriloom made up of elements of her mom’s and sister’s dresses. It made a gorgeous statement piece even that much more special.

– Jordan and Abigail had a crest designed which was decoration and personalization on all their stationery. Such a detail is a legacy piece starting from the first day of their marriage, and I LOVED it!

– Everyone had a great time at this wedding! But you know who I loved watching? Abigail’s dad! That first dance with his little girl kicked off dancing for the night in the best, most celebratory way!

– I already mentioned it, but this wedding was like a reunion with so many familiar faces and it just made me smile all the way home that night. What a blessing to know such amazing people!

Abigail and Jordan, I don’t know what else to say but THANK YOU! It has been a pleasure from start to finish, but let’s not be done and be sure to stay in touch! Cheers to the Marcoms!
