Kathleen & Brandon’s Charleston Wedding at St. Luke’s Chapel and Charleston Yacht Club

My last wedding of 2021 was one of the most beautiful and took me down to Charleston…which I love! Kathleen is the childhood friend of one of my friends who put us in touch and their wedding at St. Luke’s Chapel and reception at Charleston Yacht Club was just beautiful! Here they are: Mr. and Mrs. Jones!

Kathleen and Brandon were one of the most easy going couples on their wedding day! It was both full of peace *and* lots of excitement which was such a fun combo. And talk about a top notch wedding party! Some of my favorite parts of their day were:

• Kathleen’s first look with her dad. Neither of them expected to cry, but unexpected things can happen when you all of a sudden see your baby girl ready to get married. Kathleen’s dad had to walk away and take a minute and we were all fighting back tears! It was the sweetest thing!
• The subtle little Christmas touches! Their wedding wasn’t particularly “Christmassy” but with the green dresses and red accents in the flowers, it was just the perfect amount!
• I know you are tired of hearing it, but long veils HAVE MY HEART. They are so romantic and fun to play with in photos and Kathleen’s was perfect!
• The venues! St’s Luke’s Chapel in Charleston is historic and has a lovely outdoor space for photos. (See the Spanish moss. I love Spanish moss!)  And Charleston Yacht Club has a gorgeous view of the water and the dreamiest light ever!
• The friends and family of these two are the best around. They made us feel like part of the family and  we were so thankful!
