Wedding at The Rutherford for Emily and Fred

I first met up with Emily and Fred at a brewery, and remember them saying they wanted to have as stress free day as possible and just to have a good time and celebrate. I’d say they did just that!

Here they are! Mr. and Mrs. Buncombe!

Can you tell from their portraits that this was one of the warmest weddings I shot this year? At one point it was referred to as “swampy”. But look at these two. You’d never know!

Emily and Fred are pure joy and their day was too. We kept laughing and definitely had the relaxed celebration they were hoping for. Some of my favorite parts of their day were:

• It is so fun when I have extra connections with couples. Emily knew about me through my sister in law because they are work friends! I love when there are more familiar faces around!
• When Fred smiles, his whole body smiles and it is the best! Scroll down to when Emily started down the aisle. I nearly lost it.
• Emily’s dress IS HER MOM’S DRESS but redesigned specifically for her. It was just the sweetest thing to see her mom helping her into it!
• I love a live band. There is nothing quite like the energy it brings to a reception!
• COFFEE CATERING! I might have squealed a little when I found out that Synergy was coming! The ice cream with a shot of espresso? Highly recommend!
